This month is National Nutrition Month. Smoothies not only add nutritional value to your diet but are also quick, energizing and tasty! The first step in creating your perfect smoothie is choosing a base ingredient. Add 1-2 cups of a base to your smoothie. This might include yogurt, dairy or plant-based (soy, almond, hemp, etc.) milk, iced green tea, coconut water, 100% fruit juice or water.
